2. Private apartment/studio (individual or shared) – The average prices are between 400 and 500 EUR/month, adding utility costs that are about 80 EUR/month.

3. Home stay or host family – Rates are around 190 EUR/month with half board or about 205 EUR/month with full board included, for one person.

Living costs in Bordeaux

For a city in France, Bordeaux is not an expensive place to live in, with affordable living costs. An average student spends around 700 EUR/month, sum that includes accommodation, food bills, moderate social activities, public transportation.

Local supermarkets have pretty low prices, your monthly food bills would cost you around 180 EUR. A monthly student bus pass is 15 EUR.
