Erasmus Mundus is a scholarship and co-operation programme in the field of higher education which promotes the European Union as a centre of excellence in learning around the world.

Funded by the European Commission, the programme offers scholarships to students of exceptional quality to follow an Erasmus Mundus Masters or Doctoral course Course at two or more European universities, leading to the award of a recognised joint, double or multiple degree.

Erasmus Mundus Courses are available in fields as diverse as animal breeding, coastal management, earthquake engineering, food science, genetics, geospatial technologies, nanotechnology, photonics, public health, robotics, rural development, space technology, sustainable forestry, tropical medicine and viticulture. These courses have been subject to highly competitive selection procedures and have established a deserved reputation for academic excellence.
