The Entrepreneurship and Business Design Programme was created to teach students to cope with business design and business creation in a knowledge-based economy. The programme provides students with the necessary skills and tools to facilitate, create and manage technology-based business.
The programme is an integrated part of Chalmers’ strategy to be an entrepreneurial university that takes responsibility for sustainable growth through innovation and entrepreneurship.
In order to cater to different stages of innovation and different kinds of technologies, the programme is divided into three tracks:
CSE – Chalmers School of Entrepreneurship,
GIBBS – Göteborg International Bioscience Business School
ICM – School of Intellectual Capital Management.
Who should apply
Students who are willing to partake in an interdisciplinary education where several assignments are built on team-based pedagogy, as well as students with an interest in technology and its role in society who are willing to actively participate in packaging new technology and innovations into new business opportunities.
Why apply
The Entrepreneurship and Business Design Programme provides a unique education that attracts students from all over Chalmers and other universities in Sweden and abroad. Students are offered an education where entrepreneurship is not only taught, but also experienced as part of the learning process.
The faculty involved in the programme are also involved in research within innovation and entrepreneurship, social entrepreneurship, organisational behaviour, intellectual property etc. Furthermore, since the programme aims to be actively involved in the processes of innovation utilisation, it also has ties to technology research carried out at Chalmers, other universities and within industry.
