This interdisciplinary program offers outstanding students with degrees in chemistry, physics or materials sciences multi-faceted training in the field of advanced materials, covering the range from nanoparticles to macroscopic matter. It is a joint program with the Technische Universität München and the University of Augsburg, featuring small classes, intensive tutoring, project work, presentations by renowned international guest speakers, a spring school, and extensive practical training at leading industrial R&D units and production sites. The program is completed with a master’s thesis. Through an efficient use of the semester breaks, the master program is condensed from four to three semesters and enriched by complementary training in key skills.
The courses will be held in Munich and Augsburg. More detailed information on faculty staff and program details will be available in due course. The complete Master´s program including the Master´s Thesis will take four semesters (two years). Courses, lectures and training will be graded using the European credit point system.
