How do you decide how much capital an organization needs? The Financial Management specialization of Business Administration is about acquisition, administration and allocation of financial resources.

The Financial Management specialization of the Master's programme in Business Administration is built on 3 main pillars: Corporate Finance, Management/Financial Accounting and Financial Markets. Professionals in financial management, whether they work for financial or non-financial companies, are required to have expertise in three major fields: they need to have a thorough understanding of how to acquire financial resources (Corporate Finance), to know the lie of the land in the financial environment (Financial Markets) and to have a keen awareness of how to manage and report on internal financial flows (Management/Financial Accounting). In addition to the core curriculum, the programme has two focus areas: Financial Management in business (Finance & Accounting) and Financial Management in the financial sector (Banking & Insurance. Students can either opt for further specialization in corporate finance and/or accounting issues, or to deepen their understanding of the banking or insurance industry. The Financial Management specialization typically prepares students for a career in one of the many and varied professions that fall under the category of financial management.
