Ever wondered what happens when a molecule dissociates? Or how you determine low levels of bioactive proteins in complex biological samples? If so, the Master in Chemistry is your programme.

The Master's programme in Chemistry is a cutting-edge degree programme. These days, Chemistry is no longer an isolated discipline: it forms the bridge between Biology at one end of the spectrum (Biomolecular Chemistry) and Physics and Mathematics at the other (Physical-theoretical Chemistry). Traditionally, Organic and Analytical Chemistry ± synthesizing and measuring ± lie at the heart of the discipline. You can choose between three profiles: Social, Communications, or Education. Each specialisation track within a profile can be tailor-made to a student's personal requirements. At the initial planning stage, and with advice from the master coordinator, the optimal personal programme can be defined. Each profile and specialization includes a striking balance between compulsory courses, optional courses and research training. Organizations and companies in the chemical sector are always on the lookout for talent. There are many different career opportunities, depending on your choice of profile and specialization track. You can get a job as researcher, manager or consultant, a job in education or communication, or apply for one of our PhD student positions.
