Do you want to help to solve environmental problems? The Master's programme in Environment and Resource Management is all about dealing with environmental change and resource depletion.
At the Master's programme in Environment and Resource Management environmental problems are defined as anthropogenic disturbances of the relationships between the environment and society as perceived by certain groups, organizations or institutions. In other words, we regard environmental problems as societal problems.A growing need is emerging for versatile environmental experts who can address local risk issues in addition to global questions such as climate change and the decline in biodiversity. The wide-ranging programme makes you understand all aspects of the socio-economic consequences of human intervention on our planet. In the one-year programme workshops and individual and group assignments play an important part. In many cases you are free to choose subjects that suit your personal interests and ambitions. You can opt for one of two specializations: Energy Studies or Environmental Studies. Our graduates have excellent career prospects in the field of the environment, policy and management.
