The specialization Living Reformed Theology enables you to deepen your understanding of the Christian faith. It focuses on systematic and hermeneutical theology from a Reformed perspective.

The specialization Living Reformed Theology offers a comprehensive and systematic theological insight into the key aspects of the Christian faith. You will be challenged to translate these insights into new contexts and areas of application. The broad international character of the programme encourages you to place your own understanding of the faith in a wider context. Living Reformed Theology is a specialization within the Master's programme in Theology. The lectures are always combined with the opportunity to discuss the issues at hand. Guest lecturers from other universities may also be invited to come and talk about a specific subject or discipline. The Master's has a strong focus on research. You will receive training in how to ask the right questions with regard to motivation, scholarly importance, attainable goals, relevant methodology and the current state of research on the topic. This will help you formulate an acceptable research proposal, which you will then develop with the expert guidance of an individual supervisor.
