The Pentecostal Studies specialization in Theology includes two modules on Pentecostal Studies. The first module reflects on the movements' 19th century roots and explores the various definitions, descriptions and interpretations of Pentecostalism. This module includes a survey of developments in North America, Latin America, Europe, Africa and Asia. The second module's theological issues include Pentecostal understanding of mission and evangelism, contextualization, influence on world Christianity, ecumenism and relevance to society. The Master's programme in Pentecostal Studies is a specialization within the Master of Theology programme. You can take the programme for one year on a full-time basis or two years on a part-time basis. The teaching methods include literature surveys, lectures, tutorials, discussion groups and reading assignments.
