Requirements

The candidates must have a degree (Portuguese 'licenciatura') in Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, Industrial Design or similar or equivalent degrees, with a minimum final mark of 14 out of 20.

Exceptionally, in justified cases, the MsC Coordination Committee may consider the admission of candidates with relevant experience, although with a lower final mark.

In the year 2008/2009 the numerus clausus (maximum number of students admitted) is 20. The minimum number of students to carry out the MsC course is 5.
