You don't need to stop work to do an MBA. In fact, most people don't. Many opt for our two year Executive MBA. You continue in your job and come to Henley once a month for an intensive 3/4 day workshop where you will interact directly with our faculty and industry speakers.
The Executive MBA programme emphasises the importance of your personal development as a manager and includes personal support and business coaching. Also included are two international study visits of one week each in Year 1 and Year 2. During the Executive MBA programme you will work on company-based projects in higher-performance learning groups. This programme is ideal for those managers who aspire to senior roles and wish to maintain their career path whilst studying for an Executive MBA.
Network through the Executive MBA
The Henley Executive MBA programme emulates the work of a senior manager working within a team – your fellow participants – mature and experienced managers. Our leading faculty head up high performance learning groups, working on typically realistic issues facing today's organisations. Executive MBA learning is experientially based, real-world applicable and discussed, debated and tested in class. Our Executive MBA means you'll come away with experience that you can practically apply back in the business world.
The Executive MBA year's intake is split into small teams to form learning groups and delivers practical assignments, projects and study work. The members forming each Executive MBA team are carefully selected and balanced. We coach you on teamwork management processes, influencing skills, project management, facilitation and conflict resolution. On top of the Executive MBA content, these are transferable skills that will become invaluable on your return to work.
The Executive MBA and its international emphasis
The international element of the Executive MBA programme gives participants further grounding, making you attractive to companies looking to expand their international business. Year 1 of the Executive MBA includes one international study visit. In the past Cape Town, Hong Kong, St Petersburg and Budapest have been included and in Year 2 of the Executive MBA, a week long European study visit features.
At Henley you won't study a series of seemingly unrelated disciplines but three completely integrated stages, representing major business challenges, that build towards your final MBA qualification.
Together they cover business management from every practical and theoretical angle, giving you powerful tools and decision-making techniques for your career.
* Stage 1 - Managing the organisation
* Stage 2 - Making choices
* Stage 3 - Making a difference
Whichever method of study you choose, the same syllabus is followed.
We also offer a wide range of electives, allowing you to tailor your MBA to meet your own needs and interests.
The Personal Development module runs through all stages of the Henley MBA and enables you to take control of your learning and career goals, and to maximise the benefit to yourself and your organisation from a Henley MBA.
You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test.
Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test.
Take testOur MBA programmes are designed for experienced practicing managers. Most already have 10 years postgraduate work experience. Sharing your experience with fellow programme members enriches your learning.
