The demand for well-trained aerospace engineers at integrator and supplier level shows no sign of abating. The new MSc in Integrated Systems Design specifically seeks to serve this market by training engineers to appropriately weigh technical, practical, business and management considerations in aircraft development programmes. Today and in the future, engineering specialists need to have a broad base of aircraft knowledge and a secure multidisciplinary understanding of the integrated airframe-engine system, and must be sufficiently flexible that they have the ability to perform tasks appropriate to specialists. This MSc is designed to supply this need.
The programme is structured around six specialist fields:
* Business and Management
* Fixed-wing and Rotary Aerodynamics
* Lightweight Materials and Structural Design
* Operation and Performance
* Propulsion
* Stability and Control in Flight Handling
In addition, systems architecture and design integration are addressed through two group project learning units. A masters-level unit covering automated design, 'Advanced Techniques in Multidisciplinary Design', and a research project, complete the programme.
You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test.
Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test.
