The MA in Buddhist Studies - the longest running Buddhist Studies MA in the UK - provides graduate students with a solid foundation in the history, thought, and practice of Buddhism in South and Southeast Asia, Tibet and China. Students are also required to engage in intensive study of a canonical Buddhist language (Pali, Sanskrit, Tibetan or Chinese).

The MA is taught within a thriving Centre for Buddhist Studies, and offers students the chance to work closely with leading scholars in the field.
