The International Master Program - Information and Communication Engineering (iCE). It is a study program tailored to foreign students intending to study in Germany, as well as to German students intending to pursue a degree with an international focus. It is a four semester program: three semesters with lectures, seminars and projects; and a master thesis in the fourth semester. All the lectures in the first year are given in English, in parallel with courses about German language and culture. After that, in the third semester - which comprises of elective courses - the students can choose courses in German or English. The technical courses cover the following areas:

You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test.

The International Master Program - Information and Communication Engineering is a program of excellence. We expect from our students a solid background in basic engineering subjects, as well as good foundations on information technology and communications. Here is a list of topics that our students should be proficient in:

A Bachelor degree (or equivalent) in a related area is mandatory, and the transcripts of the Bachelor degree must confirm the solid background of the candidate in the field of information and communication engineering. Degree programs in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science and Communications Engineering are known to provide such background.
Beside the technical background, our candidates are expected to have good domain of the English language. So, a English proficiency certificate should be presented along with the application material. Here are some of the certificates we can accept, together with the acceptable results on each one: TOEFL 570 (paper based), TOEFL 230 (computer-based), IELTS 6.5, Cambridge CPE level C.
