This intensive, one-year, postgraduate Masters programme is very popular with between 40 and 50 students graduating each year.
Students have a range of backgrounds but, by the end of the programme, all have a firm foundation in business-related topics. While some past students have gone on to more specialised studies others have gone straight into employment with the banking and accounting / consulting sectors being particular favourites.

You will choose one option from each of the key subject areas of Economics, Finance and Management and a fourth option from the entire range on offer.

Third Term and Vacation
The MSc is completed with a project-based dissertation of up to 15,000 words. A choice of dissertation subject areas is provided and you choose your specific topic from one of these broader areas. Many of the dissertations are literature-based and you will be expected to acquire and use literature search skills using a range of electronic and traditional sources.
You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test.

Language requirements
An IELTS score of 6.5 in all bands, or successful completion of the University of Bristol pre-sessional language course. We also accept other language tests; please see our website for details.
