International Business & Law is a quality-oriented, interdisciplinary Master´s program designed to meet international standards, and located at the interface between two established academic disciplines. It is based on an in-depth requirements analysis and the development efforts of a team of selected international experts of science and practice. It offers a balanced combination of cross-cultural, management-oriented and legal focal subjects hand in hand with a thoroughly practical teaching approach.
English as the language of instruction, communicative competence in a second foreign language, an optional semester abroad, intercultural topics and case studies encourage our students to widen their scope of action in an international environment and offer excellent career perspectives.
The program focuses mainly on deepening education in business administration, especially in a multicultural, international context. A strong emphasis is put on international business law, an integral comprehension of global entrepreneurial processes and the development of profound management skills for international policy-makers. Creating awareness of legal issues and contexts and the interdisciplinary evaluation of problems from both a legal and an economic perspective is a further goal of the Master´s program.
Personality development and the acquisition of social skills, especially for transnational and multicultural surroundings are essential goals of the study program. Graduates have an excellent command of communication, negotiation and presentation techniques in English and in a second foreign language. Case studies, integrative project assignments and transdisciplinary projects guarantee excellent opportunities on the international job market for the graduates.
You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test if you come from a non-English speaking country.
Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test.
