These courses enable qualified occupational therapists to enhance both their own clinical knowledge and that of the health and social care organisations in which they work. (They do not provide a licence to practice.) Additional routes fulfil the needs of individuals who undertake either educational or management duties.

Integrated within the university's health and social science graduate programme, the courses provide valuable cross-disciplinary experience through modules shared with other courses in the scheme.

Career and progression opportunities
This flexible framework of study enables students to undertake a single module for CPD, a PGCert to enhance practice, a PGDiploma or a full masters degree. The pace and mode of study is flexible to meet individual learning needs.
