Interfaculty Center (Arts, Law, Economic and Social Sciences).
The European Institute of Geneva University, founded in 1963 by Denis de Rougemont, is an interfaculty center. Its aim is to coordinate and to promote teachings on European studies, and to conduct researches on the construction of Europe by interdisciplinary teams. Therefore, it gathers teachers and researchers of different Faculties as Arts, Law, and Economic and Social Sciences.
A two years study's program conducts to the achievement of a Master in European Studies, in accordance with the reform on higher education introduced by the Bologna Process.
Students must obtain 120 ECTS credits ; they must also write and present a dissertation or do an internship instead)
Three orientations :
-culture and society
-economics, politics and society
-institutions, law and society
Language: French (with the possibility to have seminar papers and the final dissertation in English or other main European languages).
