The programme centres on acquiring skills in conducting scientific research with respect to major issues in educational sciences and child studies. The aim is to prepare students for PhD-programmes or to train them for positions in the public and private sector in which advanced research skills and substantial practical research experience are required (e.g. research agencies or research departments in businesses or the public sector).
