The Faculty of Social Sciences is responsible for this programme. Also involved are the Faculties of Economics, History, Philology, Philosophy and Educational Sciences. The ninth module consists of colloquia lasting several days and a compulsory excursion.
During the interdisciplinary colloquia the students investigate interdisciplinary interrelations, train their intercultural competences, enhance their knowledge of research methods and prepare subjects for their master thesis.
The modules are concerned with the following topics: Society and Culture in Europe, Economy in Language and Literature, European Economy and Law I and II, The History of Europe´s Economy and Culture, Areas of European Politics, Cultural Research Methods, Concepts of Europe and Special Topics, Philosophy, Culture and Education.
