The studies leading to the degree of Master of Science in Chemistry consist of a 3-semester programme. The student chooses from a broad selection of optional courses in organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, bioorganic chemistry, analytical chemistry, environmental chemistry, physical chemistry, applied and industrial chemistry, computational chemistry, and polymer chemistry. The taking of some courses in interdisciplinary topics or other areas of Science is encouraged.
The programme is complemented by three short laboratory internships (140 hours each) and one individual research project (one semester).
The degree of Master of Science in Chemistry is required for the follow-up studies leading to the degree of Doctorate of Science in Chemistry.
