Finance (part-time) – (M.Sc.)

The programme is aimed at people with good undergraduate degrees and good quantitative skills. Submission of GRE or GMAT test results is an advantage but not a requirement. The mathematics used in the programme includes basic calculus and statistics. Some knowledge of economics is required, but this could have been acquired professionally. A good mastery of English is required as demonstrated by a TOEFL score of at least 603 (250 in the computer based test) or an IELTS score of at least 6.5. Two to five years of relevant work experience will be considered an advantage.

The programme will be taught in the evenings, with students being required to attend two evenings per week during two 10-week terms (Michaelmas and Lent) per year. The 10-week Summer term is devoted to review classes, study and examinations. Prior to their first year, some students will be required, and all students will be encouraged, to attend a two-week pre-sessional September course to bring them up to speed on quantitative methods.
