The postgraduate degree (Master) Programme is divided in two specializations:
* International Law
* European Law.
To obtain the degree, students must successfully complete the programme requirements and undertake the writing of a Master Thesis.
The programme is organised in two stages.
For the first semester, all studentsmust attend the common "core" courses. In the second semester, students select an International law or European law
specialization.
Each candidate must attend seven courses:
* the three compulsory "core" courses
* at least three of the specialization courses of the candidate´s chosen specialization.
During the second and third semesters of their studies, postgraduate students attend two courses in their specialization and begin working on their Master Thesis, which is completed during the fourth semester of their studies.
Duration: The minimum period of study for full-time students is three (3) academic semesters and the maximum period of study is eight (8) academic semesters.
Contents
All of the Department´s postgraduate courses equal 10 ECTS. They are divided into compulsory core courses and specialized courses. They can also be grouped, in terms of their subject, into three fields: Public International Law (NOM520-529), European
Union Law and Comparative Public Law (NOM 530-539) and Private International Law and Comparative/European Private Law (NOM 540-549.

Master Thesis
The LL.M. thesis is 20.000 - 25.000 words long, in Greek. Exceptionally, upon a positive recommendation of their academic advisor, candidates may be permitted to write their thesis in another European language.
Requirements
The criteria for assessment of postgraduate candidates are the following:
* Applicants must have a university degree in Law, awarded by an accredited institution in the country where it operates, or a degree evaluated as equivalent to a university degree by the Cyprus Council for the Recognition of Higher Education Qualifications (KYSATS). Individuals who will be awarded a University degree or Graduation certificate fulfilling the criteria of the application requirements by the end of the week that precedes the registration week will also be eligible to submit an application form.
* Exceptionally, graduates of Political Sciences and International or European Studies may be admitted to the "International Law" orientation, by decision of the Committee on Graduate Studies.
* Law graduates from Greek universities must have a "very good" ( ) grade point average. Law graduates from UK universities must have at least second-class honors. Law graduates from other universities must have equivalent degrees and grades. Graduates in other subjectsmust have a grade point average over 7.5/10 (or upper second-class or equivalent) and show evidence of their satisfactory understanding of legal concepts and institutions in an oral examination. Exceptionally, by unanimous decision, the Committee may decide to admit law graduates with lower degree grades and notable professional achievement.
* Letters of recommendation.
* Personal interview at the discretion of each department.
* Written examination at the discretion of each department.
