Our MA Applied Linguistics and Intercultural Communication provides insights into intercultural communication (and mis-communication), including professional communication in multilingual workplaces.
You gain hands-on experience of applying a range of approaches, techniques and tools from applied linguistics to real-life spoken and written communication data. Our core topics include: intercultural pragmatics, discourse and rhetoric, culture and communication, and multilingualism. There is also a range of optional modules for those interested in the role of culture in ELT/EFL/TESOL.
