Uniting theory and practice, this course is for people keen to gain the knowledge and skills to apply psychological principles to business practice.
Business Psychology will be particularly interesting to those with some knowledge of psychology who wish to develop workplace-specific skills, and to individuals in business wanting to acquire knowledge and skills in the application of psychology.
The course is accredited by the Association for Business Psychologists, and you are encouraged to join this professional body - making the course particularly relevant to professionals or recent graduates seeking to become business psychologists.
The course begins with three foundation modules, Methods of Enquiry, Individual Differences, and Psychology & Organisations that combine to provide a theoretical basis. You will then choose from a range of modules covering different areas of application, including job analysis, recruitment, occupational testing, people development, and occupational health and career counselling. Masters candidates must complete a dissertation.
