Location of Central European University (CEU)
The Department of Economics department trains future economists in standard economic theory as well as in many applied fields. The program enables students to use the tools of economic analysis in order to solve problems that today’s societies face.
Master of Arts in Law and Economics (One Year)
Offered jointly with the Department of Legal Studies, this program provides students with the ability to critically evaluate legal and economic issues. It aims to prepare graduates for careers at public organizations, business and law fi rms. CEU fellowships are not available for this program.
Career Paths
Graduates find top job positions in banking and business, and at governmental and international organizations. The program also prepares Master’s students for future doctoral studies and doctoral graduates for successful careers in research and academia.
