Location of Central European University (CEU)

The Department of Public Policy focuses on analyzing, designing and implementing local, national and international policy initiatives. The department emphasizes innovative and interdisciplinary approaches to public policy that can provide governments and international organizations with tools for addressing key social and economic issues.

Master of Arts in Public Policy (One Year)
This program emphasizes core areas of public policy with a specialization in selected policy topics. Students are expected to combine analysis and critical thinking with policy-making solutions, researching academic papers and writing policy briefs using quantitative and qualitative research methods. A two-month internship is a required part of the program.

Graduates of the department find successful careers as policy-makers and consultants, with governmental and non governmental organizations, private firms and universities worldwide.
