Competitive Advantage Through A Unique Course Of Study
Economical, ecological and targeted use and efficient processing of materials are essential for the competitiveness of Austrian industry. Given the increasing quality requirements in the production and use of new materials there is increasing demand for qualified experts who are familiar with the specific requirements for the processing and use of these materials. In Austria there is no comparable course anywhere.
Academic Profile
Students specialise in either Plastics Processing or Metals because of the breadth and complexity of the subject. Alongside specialisation in technical subjects there is also a focus on processing technologies, joining technologies and lightweight metal construction. Business Economics, Executive Management and Social Skills are also covered in-depth. This course is unique because of the research and development projects which constitute a large part of it. Graduates of MVT become top managers in the fields of metals and plastics processing, applied research, product development and manufacture, joining and welding engineering, surface engineering, applications as well as customer service or consultancy and quality assurance.
