You choose to take a strand in either playwriting or dramaturgy, but all students examine dramaturgical issues - learning about the theatrical frameworks and different stages of theatrical production which shape and contribute to the staged event. You have regular meetings with practising playwrights, directors and literary managers, and if you have chosen the playwriting strand, your final project is given workshopped public performances.

You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test.
