The MA comprises three main areas: studio practice, the history and theory of contemporary art and gallery practices, and the study of contemporary art education. There are three year-long practice-based studio and exhibition modules, running concurrently with two essay-based modules. The options take advantage of the modules available from the broad range offered in the MA in Education: Culture, Language & Identity or an Art Psychotherapy module.
