The 2-year Master Programme offers the following specialisations:
* International Accounting and Finance
* International Marketing and Sales
The programme prepares students for future leadership positions in an international business environment.
Accounting and Finance: Students aquire in-depth knowledge in the areas of accounting and finance. The courses will build on previous knowledge of business administration, management, economics, law, IT and personal communication skills. In the 2. and 3. semesters, the emphasis shifts to the area of specialisation and covers a variety of aspects of auditing, accounting, international taxation, treasury management, risk management, financial markets and corporate investment. In semesters 3 and 4 students will write their master´s thesis and will also sit their final examinations of the programme.
Marketing and Sales: In their first semester, students focus on the key aspects of business including applied business administration, management and consulting, law, information technology, economics and personal development. The 2. and 3. semesters provide profound insight into the International Marketing and Sales specialisation including the areas of marketing research, marketing management, strategic market planning, sales management and training, service marketing, marketing systems and technologies and marketing trends. In semester 4 students will write their master´s thesis and will also sit their final examinations of the programme.
Courses: Attendance is compulsory for all courses. All classes take place from Monday to Friday starting at approximately 8:00 a.m., Personal Development seminars may be blocked on Saturdays or outside of term times.
Examinations: All courses must be completed with a positive result by the end of the semester following the course. Non-completion will result in termination of studies. Attendance at examinations is compulsory. In general, every student has three attempts per course to pass an examination.
Specialization: International Marketing and Sales or International Accounting and Finance
Entrance Examination: Quick Placement Test (English test) and Personal Interview
You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test if you come from a non-English speaking country.
Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test.
More informationPrimary requirement for admission is the completion of a business related Bachelor´s degree or of an equivalent or higher degree programme. Applicants with a non-business related degree must fullfill one of the following requirements:
* Proof of 30 ECTS credits in Business-related courses taken in previous study
* Submission of the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) minimum score of 480
The other basic requirement ist the Proof of Proficiency in English. The following certificates - exklusively - are accepted:
* Business English Certificate (BEC) Higher
* Certificate in Advanced English (CAE)
* International English Language Testing System (IELTS) band 6.5 or higher
* TOEFL IBT, minimum score 110 or higher
