The European University Viadrina has intense co-operations with partner universities around the world. The modular structure of the program of graduate studies, with evaluation based on the credit-point system, allows credit for academic work to be transferred from and to other institutions of higher learning within the university's network of co-operation and exchange. These arrangements allow students to complete a period of study abroad within the time prescribed for their course. We even offer double degree programs with some of our partner universities! The European University Viadrina has the highest students / outgoing students ratio of all German public universities - the best proof of the success of the internalization strategy of the European University Viadrina!

The Faculty of Business Administration and Economics at the European University Viadrina maintains double degree programs with both EU and non-EU universities. These agreements are known as double or multiple agreements (Doppel- oder Mehrfachabkommen). Viadrina students are able to obtain two or three final degrees as a result of these agreements.
As a rule, the application and planning of a dual or multiple degree diploma requires much more time and investment than a simple semester of study abroad. In order to complete the course of study in a most efficient manner, the plan of study should be well thought-out both before and after the duration road. Especially in the case of Argentina, abnormal or non-compatible academic calendars shoud be considered during the planning phase.
The Department of International Affairs (Abteilung für Internationale Angelegenheiten) is commissioned by the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics examination board to determine course equivalencies and recognition of course completion (contact person: Mr. Glase) . These equivalencies will help in securing your success in relation to planning your course of study. In this regard, take into consideration the additional monetary costs associated with an extended stay abroad.
At the moment we maintain double degree programs with
* Universidad Católica de Cordoba
* Universidad de Deusto, San Sebastían
* École Superérieure de Commerce de Reims
* École Supérieure de Commerce de Montpellier
* San Diego State University
* Université Paul Verlain de Metz (German-French Master's).
