This innovative and challenging new programme offers graduates and those with relevant experience the opportunity to pursue an intensive vocational acting course which culminates in the realisation of original work for public performance.

The aim of this highly intensive programme is to enable students to establish and sustain a successful career in theatre, television, film and radio. The college has a strong reputation within the industry for producing confident and versatile performers who are able to respond well to the demands of the contemporary acting profession. The programme encompasses a series of practical workshops to introduce the fundamental methods available to actors through improvisation, character and
relationship-based work. There are also classes in specialist movement and vocal skills, and stage combat. A period of intensive rehearsals culminates in public performances in two different productions and official showcase presentations in Cardiff and London, which provide opportunities for students to perform to agents, casting directors and other potential employers. Central to the award of the Masters qualification is the creation and realisation of an original piece of work for performance. It is envisaged that the performance will have an extended life beyond the initial parameters of the course and that the skills and techniques you acquire will inform and influence your future professional development.
