The two year programme will equip you with the necessary skills in current technologies coupled by practical techniques to create a portfolio of new music using your computer music workstation. Supportive study modules will provide you with a working discipline, a sense of context and an aesthetic awareness in relation to your own music and that of others. You will develop confidence in embracing change, which is both inevitable and a driving force in creative music technology.

You will have a designated tutor with whom you will have regular one-to-one tuition focusing on your creative projects. This will be through either the exchange of music files and emails over the internet or by face-to-face tuition with web conferencing. Supporting study modules will be delivered through a combination of recorded video files downloaded or streamed on demand, text or interactive use of conferencing
and forums.

Throughout the course you will be encouraged to interact with fellow students and with current oncampus students through project work, virtual classes and erformances, maintaining the conservatoire experience.
