By the end of the programme you will have mastered general management theory and its application in today’s global economy. Your understanding of complex organisations and your highly developed analytical and personal skills will equip you for a challenging management position in a wide range of international companies.
The aim of the programme is to provide postgraduate education for students who wish to specialise in the international dimension of management studies, with or without the benefit of long practical experience of this field.
In particular, the global virtual classroom in which you study will give you a unique insight into different global perspectives on the theories and practice of business management.
The programme is composed of four general modules, four specialist modules and a dissertation (for a total of 180 credit points).
Your first module will be nine weeks in length, beginning with a week long introduction to the programme, the learning platform and then continue with the module content.
Each following module is eight weeks in length. By taking one module at a time you can explore a specific subject in depth without distractions.

Dissertation
The culmination of your programme, this written project demonstrates your mastery and integration of all your previous learning. The dissertation is the cornerstone of the UK university system. It is an original, scholarly work that applies your new knowledge and experience and allows you to prove your mastery of the techniques you have studied.
Students choose their dissertation topic in conjunction with their Personal Dissertation Advisor, an academic supervisor who will provide support throughout the study and writing process.
Online Master - How it works
All University of Liverpool online Masters programmes are taught 100% via the Internet, giving career professionals access to a level of higher education that may otherwise be out of reach because of work or family responsibilities.
This accessibility is made possible because there are no fixed lecture times, the classroom is always open and there is no need to synchronise study with anyone else. In completing their assignments, students can interact with instructors and classmates whenever and wherever suits them best.
All courses are delivered online one at a time, so students can get to grips with the subject and explore it in real depth. We carefully compose each individual study group from a student body representing a wide variety of experience, so that feedback from classmates is stimulating and inspiring, bringing both specialist knowledge and fresh perspectives.
You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test if you come from a non-English speaking country.
Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test.

All UK universities are regulated and monitored by a government body, the QAA. Some of the older, well-established UK Universities have been awarded a Royal Charter. The Royal Charter was granted to the University of Liverpool in 1903; it is a sign of proven academic quality and allows the University to independently award Bachelors, Masters, and to doctorate degrees.
The University of Liverpool is also funded by the Government (Department of Education and Science) via the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE). HEFCE established the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) to oversee the quality of degrees in HEFCE-funded universities.
The US and Canada are happy to accept the standard of degrees awarded by universities in the UK as equivalent to their own corresponding degrees.
The degrees offered via the Internet through Laureate Online Education are fully recognised Master's degree programmes of the University of Liverpool with exactly the same status and standing as other Masters level degrees of the University.
The University of Liverpool and Laureate Online Education partnership - the largest provider of online degrees in Europe - will mark a 10 year milestone of its online programmes.
