This programme provides students with the opportunity to study recent developments in accounting, financial analysis and financial management. In a background of increasing globalisation and the importance of a strategic perspective in business, the programme includes core modules, which focus on key relevant issues in the modern business world. This perspective is extended into a choice of a designate module, which enables further in-depth study in a particular area of interest.

Careers

You will take five core modules, an optional module (which can be chosen in consultation with the Course Leader) and a dissertation of around 15-20,000 words.

Assessment
Students will be exposed to various assessment strategies that are part of the development and evaluation of the above skills.
* Formative assessment such as essay writing, case study analysis, presentation, group work will usually be accompanied by summative assessment such as unseen exams
* All assessment methods are designed to test the student's actual level of skill achievements.
You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test.

Non-graduate applicants with full professional accounting qualifications may also apply. Those with full professional accounting qualifications will be exempt from the first two core accounting modules.
