Corporate agility in the face of diverse and changing business environments, the ability to anticipate future disruptions to business practices and to change direction at speed, are now recognised as the basis for edging past competitors in a growing international competitiveness. The aim of this course is to develop these sets of abilities with a particular focus on a thorough understanding of the international financial markets in which businesses operate and an understanding of corporate policies in the areas of capital investment, financing, acquisitions and restructuring. The rapid integration of international capital markets, the worldwide accessibility of investment funds and the continuous development of new and sophisticated financial products require business managers to understand how these changes affect the operations of their businesses and react accordingly.

Careers
The course will be of interest to graduates seeking careers in multinationals, import/export companies, domestic and international financial organisations and international banks. Those already employed can update their knowledge and/or improve their careers. In addition, it can lead onto an MPhil or PhD.
