MA International Finance is designed for graduates (or equivalent) from accounting, economics, business and related disciplines. You will develop knowledge of finance, related specifically to international business, exploring the capability of firms in conducting international business and examining financial decisions within an international business organisation. The course will develop your understanding of issues (and the analytical techniques used) in international finance.
You can benefit from a strong research culture within the department and the many links the department has with industry and commerce, and relevant professional bodies.

You then choose one of the following options:
* Corporate Financial Planning

* Strategic Management Control and Appraisal

You also take a free optional module, which may be one of the options above, or a module from elsewhere in our postgraduate scheme. A dissertation of 12,000-15,000 words is also required.
Teaching and learning methods include group discussions, problem analysis and video, as well as conventional lectures and seminars. Language learning facilities (audio, CD-ROM and satellite) are available in the University's Language Centre.
Assessment
With the exception of the dissertation and research methods which are assessed solely by coursework, all other core modules are assessed by coursework and a three hour examination.
You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test.
