This innovative programme course is offered as a collaborative venture with ESCEM School of Business and Management in Poitiers, France. It involves studying in both the UK and in France, as well as undertaking a work placement anywhere in the world. This course enables you to acquire an advanced understanding of recent developments, concepts and techniques in accounting, financial analysis, financial management and strategy within an international context. The four-month work placement offers a unique opportunity to reinforce your study with valuable work experience.
Successful completion of the course will lead to the award of two Masters degrees - an MSc in International Financial Strategy from London Metropolitan University and an MSc in Global Financial Management from ESCEM. This unusual dual award gives you an increased chance of employment and a competitive edge in the field of global financial strategy. The course is taught in English in both France and the UK, so it is not necessary to be a French speaker to undertake the programme
Careers
This programme of study enables students to enhance their skills and knowledge through a structured schedule of study and regular interaction with applications commonly used in industry, which is intended to enable a rapid advancement in career efforts. Graduates have progressed in a variety of fields including financial services, management consultancy and academic research.
The course consists of ten core modules and a four-month placement. The first semester takes place in London and the second semester is taught at ESCEM in Poitiers, France. The dissertation/project module can be undertaken in either the UK or France. With the exception of the dissertation module (which is worth 60 credit points), the modules taught in London are each worth 20 credit points, while the modules taught in Poitiers are each worth 10 credit points.

Assessment
Each module consists of a mixture of scheduled classes, guided learning and self-directed learning. Teaching and learning is undertaken through lectures, seminars, discussions, group activities, workshops, projects, tutorials and self managed study. A variety of assessment is utilised including essays, reports presentations, case studies and exams.
You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test.

Applicants who have had substantial work experience in Finance or Strategy related employment and/or have achieved relevant professional qualifications will also be considered.
