Get a solid analytical and critical grasp of new views. Be part of an advanced discussion in the philosophy, methodology, history and culture of economics, and go on to a research or academic career.

Master new literatures, issues, and perspectives. Focus on the theoretical and empirical analysis of evolutionary and institutional economics. Erasmus University is a first-rate university with a strong tradition in economics, located in bustling Rotterdam. The programme builds on a tradition of research and teaching in philosophy and economics at the Erasmus Institute for Philosophy and Economics (EIPE). Attend weekly seminars, and lectures by renowned experts. Take assignment-based courses in philosophy and economics. Do more advanced coursework in epistemology, ethics, the philosophy of science, and philosophical anthropology. Present your own work get the academic skills you need for further study as a junior researcher or a PhD candidate.

Previous education: The minimum requirement is a Bachelor's degree in economics or philosophy. Applicants with a Master's degree may take an accelerated programme.
