The programme provides an opportunity to study Studio Ceramics in depth, to advance individual skills, knowledge and understanding in creative, practical, and technical aspects of the subject within a workshop and studio environment.

We offer well equipped studios with a wide range of gas, electric, oil, and wood fired (anagama) kilns, salt firing and raku are also accommodated, and an outdoor (covered) area for experimental firing processes and kiln building. There is a well stocked glaze laboratory and raw materials storage and equipment for the composition and processing of all types of clay body and glazes.

As an artist and maker you will be challenged to examine and extend your own practice, to develop your knowledge and critical understanding of the subject and its history, and to apply it in the wider professional context.
