Skills acquired:

The two-year programme offers a wide variety of perspectives into the management of innovations and technology in an international environment that is based on the combination of business, engineering and management. The programme combines international studies in engineering and business. The major studies focus on e.g. technology management and commercialization, product and technology strategies, corporate venturing and international business.

Diverse study methods and working in teams develop students’ ability to cooperate and solve complex situations in today’s networked business world. Graduates from the Department of Industrial Management have been employed as e.g. export managers, key account managers, managers of logistics, controllers, analysts, business application specialists, operative purchasers, technology innovation managers, etc. The studies also give graduates a firm basis for doctoral studies in the field of industrial management.

Requirements

General Ellibility

Minimum requirement: Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in industrial management or closely related field (B.Sc. Tech./Eng./Econ.&Bus.Adm.) or Bacherlor's degree (tradenomi) from a Finnish university of applied sciences or a Russian Spetsialist degree in the field in question.

Language Requirement's

Consequently students who have not completed a Bachelor’s degree in English in an EU/EEA country or in Australia, Canada, New Zealand or in the USA must have obtained an approved English language qualification Academic TOEFL 80 iBT/550 PBT; Academic IELTS 6.0; Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) or Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) level A, B or C. University language certificates are not accepted.
