Applications are invited for this intensive one-year full-time course for non-accounting graduates wishing to pursue a career as professional accountants.

Holders of the award receive significant examination exemptions from the main professional accountancy bodies operating in Ireland and will be well prepared for the later stages of their programmes. Details of exemptions will be found in the relevant accounting body's literature or website.

Graduates will be eligible for the award of Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting of the Dublin Institute of Technology.

Most graduates pursue careers as professional accountants (either practising or in industry/commerce) following appropriate training.
