Who Will Benefit?
The Postgraduate Programmes in Management and Leadership are specially designed for experienced managers seeking to develop practical skills whilst working towards a university award. In providing a general management qualification, the programmes are suitable for delegates from all functional areas.
Certificate in Management and Leadership: The programme will particularly benefit experienced first line managers and will provide a route to the Postgraduate Diploma in Management and Leadership and Postgraduate Programmes.
Diploma in Management and Leadership: The Diploma programme is designed for middle managers and will provide a sound basis for those seeking to extend their studies to MSc and MBA.
MSc in Management and Leadership: Successful Diploma candidates may register for MSc by dissertation (1 year) or join the Loughborough MBA programme (2-3 years).
DeliveryThe Certificate and Diploma programmes are part-time and will normally extend over a period of 18 to 24 months. They involve a combination of short courses, distance learning and work-based assignments and projects. Both programmes are delivered via block release and learning methods are tailored to participants' needs.

Certificate candidates are required to complete all Element 1 core modules, plus one option (6 modules in total).
Diploma candidates are required to complete all Element 1 & 2 core modules, plus one Certificate option and the related Element 2 option (12 modules in total).
MSc candidates are required to complete the Diploma stage, plus a research project
Assessment
Continuous assessment, no examinations.
You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test.
Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test.
Take testEntrants to this programme will have significant managerial experience at a supervisory/first line management level (Certificate) or middle management level (Diploma). They may have a first degree.
All applicants must have an acceptable qualification in English language before they can be admitted to any postgraduate programme. Below are the main English language qualifications acceptable for entry to the University (these are the minimum and some departments may require higher levels):
* GCSE English Language – Grade C or above
* IELTS band 6.5 or above with not less than 6.0 in each sub test
* TOEFL (including the Tests in Written and Spoken Practice) minimum score of 100 (Internet-based test) overall with no less than 21 in Listening, 22 in Reading, 23 in Speaking and 21 in Writing
