The Master’s programme in Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management is designed to give students a focused, relevant and utilizable body of knowledge in entrepreneurship and innovation management, suitable for people with an interest in starting and managing innovative projects either within existing structures or by realizing new economic endeavours.
As parts of this, the programme will give the participants:
* An understanding of the nature of innovation and entrepreneurship and the potential inherent in this, including but not limited to theories of how these function, how they can be managed, and how to find novel ways to realize projects in the economy.
* The necessary skills to start and manage projects of an innovative nature, including skills in planning and executing new projects and start-ups. This also includes critical skills for the effective leader in a contemporary economy, such as creativity, communication and presentation.
* A set of critical skills needed to properly analyze and assess innovative projects, as well as the theoretical basis upon which the participants can build their further development as innovation leaders.
Career prospects
Innovation and entrepreneurship represent the most important engines of value and new wealth creation in the contemporary economy. The programme is devised in a way that can be utilized both to kick-start a new venture of one´s own, or as a way to position oneself for a fast-track career in innovative companies. As most corporations today realize that they need to be more innovative and entrepreneurial, the programme is positioned to prepare participants to help meet this challenge.
The teaching logic of the programme strives to make this project something that the participants can engage in throughout the project, so that the more theoretical aspects of the programme continuously supports a self-defined innovation project. This combination of practical skills and theoretical enhancement informs the programme as a whole. Through this, the programme strives to create a meaningful whole that can help the participants to realize their innovation and career potential.

The final degree project is meant to both tie the program together in its entirety and give the participants a chance to develop a personal project within the auspices of an academic exam. Participants can choose either to do an entrepreneurial project or collaborate with a company.
You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test.

The general requirements are the same for all applicants to advanced level studies in Sweden.
1. Previous studies
A completed Bachelor's degree.
A completed Bachelor's degree, corresponding to a Swedish Bachelor's degree (180 ECTS), or equivalent academic qualifications from an internationally recognised university. The university has to be listed in the latest edition of the International Handbook of Universities. A Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering is required for most programmes at KTH.
2. Language requirements
Applicants must provide proof of their English language proficiency which is most commonly established through an internationally recognised test.
TOEFL
* Paper-based test: total result of 575 (written test, grade 4.5)
* Internet-based test: total result of 90 (written test, grade 20)
English test results from TOEFL should be sent directly from the ETS test centre to University Studies in Sweden (code 9520).
IELTS
* A minimum overall mark of 6.5, with no section lower than 5.5 (only Academic Training accepted)

Selection process
The selection process for Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management is based on a total evaluation of the following selection criteria: university, GPA, course work related to the programme, motivation letter and references.

All applications must be supported by documentation including Transcripts of Records, Degree certificate/Diploma, proof of English proficiency etc.
