The main focus of the master programme Industrial Management is the creation of value for customers. The programme addresses this issue at three different levels. Secondly, the firm level, which focuses on the management of value creating functions and processes such as research and development, operations and sourcing, and marketing and distribution. Thirdly, the individual level, which focuses on leading people in change.
The programme consists of a number of tailored and programme exclusive courses that provide deep understanding in relation to each of the three levels – the industry, the functional, and the individual – as well as the interrelation between them. The individual learning progress throughout the programme is enhanced by the integrated design of the compulsory courses where case assignments, problem based learning, and interaction with the industry represent central pedagogical approaches.
The programme sets pride in having a close contact and frequent interaction with industrial leaders and their organizations from different sectors throughout the two years.
