ICT is rapidly changing the world and the way in which people live and work. ICT provides new sources of revenue and opportunities to dramatically change a firm´s cost structure. Business & ICT focuses on how private and public organizations can successfully apply ICT to create sustainable competitive advantage or improved public services.

Choose Business & ICT for a career at the forefront of developments, a career involving constant reflection on and permanent creation of applications for the fascinating opportunities that ICT offers to individuals, organizations, and society.

The Business & ICT Master´s degree specialization will teach students a versatile perspective on the many ways in which companies change under the influence of ICT and vice versa. The starting-point is a strategic vision: how may we create sustainable competitive advantage with ICT for businesses?

Furthermore, this includes:

* Both strategic management theory as the latest developments in e-business and multiple channel strategies
* Thorough understanding of how a vision should be implemented in (networked) organization processes
* Insight in modern ICT and technological developments


Contents

The one-year programme consists of 60 EC The first semester starts with the Strategy & ICT field course (10 EC), followed by two in-depth courses in Business & ICT (20 EC). The second semester begins with the optional courses selected by the student (10 EC) and concludes with a final degree project (20 EC).

IELTS

You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test.

Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test.

Relevant Scientific Bachelor Degree in Business or a related field from a recognized university

or

Pre-MSc programme of Faculty of Economics and Business of the University of Groningen.

* 600 or higher: you will be automatically accepted, provided you meet all other requirements
