The Master of Automotive Systems programme is entirely based on requirements in the field. The themes and modules offered by the programme will greatly improve your knowledge and skills. You will learn about the latest developments in automotive technology, design and production.
The programme focuses on intelligent vehicle systems (vehicle dynamics and control, driver assistance) and advanced propulsion design (driveline and power train). The curriculum directly reflects major trends in vehicle development and manufacture of cars and trucks.
Full-time and Part-time programme
The programme is offered as a full-time and a part-time programme. Full-time students have the opportunity to obtain a double degree: Master of Science (MSc) from Czech Technical University and a Professional Master´s degree from HAN University of Applied Sciences.
Double degree route for full-time studentsFull-time students may spend their first year studying at the Czech Technical University (CTU) in Prague. This route enables students to obtain a double degree: a Master of Science (MSc) from CTU and a Professional Master´s degree (M eng) from HAN University of Applied Sciences.
The Master´s programme prepares Bachelors graduates in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering for specific development and design positions, providing them with a good theoretical basis and teaching them practical techniques and skills. The Master of Automotive systems is taught in English.
Students are supported by HAN´s professional Automotive teaching staff and state of the art laboratory and simulation facilities within ARLA (Applied Research Laboratory Automotive).
They benefit from Automotive research activities performed by HAN´s Automotive research department in Mobility Technology and Vehicle Mechatronics.
