Globalisation is occurring - whether we like it or not. This fact requires a changing capacity of management skills which are adjusted to the international framework of world-wide business. The implementation of globalisation strategies requires the appropriate management tools which in general cannot be applied in a standardised and formalised way. Business performance nowadays has to be flexible and must take into account the local necessities there and then. Global management competence includes having the capability to accept different cultures and behaviours. There is no demand for "one world players" but for managers with empathy for the host country and its culture. Current studies of business administration and management are often not able to provide sufficient skills which are needed for global management.
Our MBA-course Master in Global Management endeavours to offer the opportunity to junior managers to add the specific competence which is inalienable for successful global business today.
