Explore the changes that the internationalisation of media and communications have wrought in our lives. How have cultural, economic and political developments contributed to these. What are the consequences? Get a fix on the pervasiveness of media such as papers, television, the Internet and video games. How have the various media sectors developed? How are they organised? Erasmus is a highly rated university with a strong international outlook and top-drawer teaching staff, in a modern, cosmopolitan city. Grasp and respond to complex problems in media and society, and go on to a career in research or in any of a number of fields in the public or private sector such as management, marketing, public relations, journalism or consultancy.

Media and Business:

Put yourself to the test in this engaging programme and explore how new media have transformed the the media business and other international industries. This programme meets the growing demand for academically trained media experts with an entrepreneurial mind who are able to respond effectively and creatively to complex issues, emerging trends and new opportunities in media and business. Using state-of-the-art theory and research you will learn to trace and analyse the fast paced technological and organizational changes in the media business. You will dive into the multiple challenges faced by companies, workers and policymakers in the media industries and other business fields. You will explore the impact of new media technologies on existent business models as well as their innovative potential for the media business and other industries.

You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test if you come from a non-English speaking country.

Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test.

Previous education: University Bachelor's degree in the social sciences or the arts. Basic knowledge of media studies and social scientific research methods.
